How we rank movers.
MovingRated does not publish an overall “best mover” score. Our directory helps you find public records; it does not decide which mover you should hire.
Directory order
Directory search and filtered results are ordered by search demand among the matching records. In the A–Z browse, movers are grouped by name and ordered by search demand within each letter. This is a navigation order, not a quality, safety, or customer-satisfaction score.
Public records, not a MovingRated score
Mover profiles show public FMCSA information, including a federal safety rating only when one is present in the record. We do not create an overall mover score or present an FMCSA safety rating as a customer review. Records can change; use the linked federal source to verify current details. Sponsored placements
On state, city, and route pages, Premier placements appear at the top, Featured placements in the third position, and Listed placements in the end section. Every placement carries a Sponsored label. On mover profiles, eligible paid placements appear in the end section. Payment does not change the order of the mover list or the public records, ratings, or reviews shown there. A Sponsored placement is advertising, not an endorsement or a recommendation from MovingRated.
